I hired a lawyer who recommended me to accept a settlement against my business partners. The business partners paid but I haven’t seen the settlement paperworks. I tried to handle this with the Cal Bar. They sound like they don’t like to get a lawyer in trouble. I do have all the contract paperworks with this lawyer. What kind of actions can I take? The lawyer won’t return phone calls or e-mails. Any suggestions?
